Thoughts on this week’s holidays:
- Again, this week is not so bad on the sweet side, especially since I was able to find a savory pound cake recipe.
- I’ve never attempted a souffle of any sort before, but I have heard the stories of how difficult they can be… I guess we’ll see if I fall victim to same flat souffle.
- I’m choosing National Cold Cuts Day over National Mulled Wine Day. While I do like mulled wine, I don’t think it’s something I can drink all to myself and definitely not something I can bring to work!
- National Cheese Doodle Day – that makes me laugh. What makes cheese doodles so important that they get their own day?
